Do you want to write but don’t know where to start?
Do you wish you had a no pressure guide to begin your writing practice?
Do you have a brain blank as soon as you sit down to write?
Don’t worry, we’ve all been there, and it is time for a change. I know you’ve been thinking about writing, but other responsibilities took priority. You might put it off for another season, but I encourage you to start now.
If you want to write, just start. It doesn’t have to be perfect, it doesn’t even have to make sense, for now. It does have to get done. It doesn’t matter if you write for two minutes, it is better than nothing and it is more than you’ve done before.
Writing is a journey of discovery and it is okay to take your time and ease into it.
Step on the other side and imagine for a minute that you accomplished that one thing you’ve always wanted to do. It really feels good once you finish it.
All those awesome ideas you have in your head are holding space, and it is time to take action. Release the ideas so more can come in. Once you do, you will know whether you want to continue. Some ideas are a starting point, a way to a better idea, or a tester to see if you are going to take it into consideration.
I get it.
There are so many ideas, you don’t know where to start. That is okay too. Try a brain dump.
Now, take a deep breath.
